Reviews

I just finished your book, Fred. It is terrific. You do have an active mind and a strong writing hand. I’ve earmarked over 20 pages and underlined many phrases. It’s as good as Atlas Shrugged but with two more books yet to come to complete the story. What if….And I had to keep reminding myself I was reading fiction and not the Globe and Mail. You interplay what is, what could have been, and what might be in a page turning way. Congratulations – Brendan Calder Professor Emeritus – The Rotman School of Management – University of Toronto _________________________________________________________________________________________________

An interesting and fast paced read that keeps the reader involved throughout. The big question is when is the next instalment “The Tribulation “ available? We need to know how Will and Rob will face the issues of tomorrow -starting a new society or help salvaging this one? A novel that takes one out of today and takes into our future. – G. Fred Dawkins’ The Noah Project is written in today’s times – an angry, unsettled world, with wars raging and with some world leaders possessing a dangerous thirst for power and senseless disruption. It’s a world of growing misinformation and mistrust.  Though the book is fiction, it is too close to reality for comfort.  Dawkins’ obvious knowledge of world events, cultures, and today’s political realities are cleverly woven into the story. In short, it is a page-turner. If this book doesn’t make you think of what could be the result of today’s chaos, then keep your head in the sand, because at least there it will be out of the way. – Pauline Curtis __________________________________________________________________________________________________

What if we could see where current world politics could take us in the near future. Fred Dawkins has taken what we think we know and blended it with a picture of a possible future in his brilliant and exciting novel The Noah Project. This is one of the best reads that I have had in a long time. From the edge-of-my-seat pace and thought-provoking scenarios, once opened, it is hard to put down. I bought copies for friends and family members in anticipation of some great dinner table discussions in the near future. A trilogy! I can’t wait for book 2. – Margaret Walker ______________________________________________________________________________________________

I just bought Fred Dawkins most recent book, a novel. The Noah Project. Started it and couldn’t put it down for the first 100 pages. Whew. The story blends real time news with probable believable events, and told crisply.
A helluva read. – verified Amazon reader ____________________________________________________________________________________________

The Noah Project: I enjoyed the book very much. While it is a novel, it hits on the political shenanigans in the world as they are or could be today. The author appears to have some potential long-term solutions in future books. (I’m anxiously waiting). Character development is good and never loses the reader with too much miscellaneous detail.
The book was well worth the time for the read. It is interesting and always keeps the reader connected. – verified Amazon reader ____________________________________________________________________________________________

The Noah Project is very much a book for our time, TODAY! For far too long, we have all accepted the ways of the world and trusted our governments to act in the best interest of all. Of course, most of us know that is impossible but the easy way out is to accept.

The Noah project postulates a very plausible dismantling of the globalization structure to which we have all become accustomed, to our peril. Not that Globalization is, of itself, a problem. But, the reliance of the developed world, upon cheap overseas labour has opened the door for revenge for those countries which have been abused, neglected or otherwise disadvantaged by Western dominance. What if China did decide to withdraw from the game and trade only with Asian and African nations? How could North America and Europe ever satisfy the consumer greed for “cheap” which has shaped our modern economy? Could the world survive a divided global economy? Imagine the political upheaval, economic calamity and desperation of political leaders. It’s all in the NOAH PROJECT. All the while, a few individuals are preparing an “ARK” of refuge, to cope with the devastation of the world, whether shattered by nuclear conflict or destroyed by climate change. An exciting read with authentic characters and frightening possibilities. A must read for anyone with concerns for our future. Hopefully, this book can be a warning for those who actually pull the levers which shape the world. – Martin Shelley ______________________________________________________________________________________
